What are wax melts?

Wax melts are scented pieces of wax that are used to fragrance the home or workspace, they don’t use a wick like a candle and are melted in an electric warmer or tealight burner, similar to an oil burner to release the infused fragrance. Wax melts come in different shapes, sizes, and colors but are usually small, affordable, and are a good way to try lots of different scents.

Unlike candles, the wax does not evaporate, only the scent dissipates so once you can no longer smell the fragrance, you can dispose of your used wax and start a new scent. Wax melts are often cheaper alternatives which means you can get more for your money. You can purchase a choice of high-quality and affordable melts here.

What you should know about lavender

Lavender is a popular scent used in various products. It is known for its calming qualities and is frequently used in wellness-related spaces such as luxurious day spas and yoga studios. The primary reason lavender works so well at reducing anxiety is due to linalool, the alcohol component in lavender that puts out its unique odor. Smelling linalool produces a strong anxiety-reducing effect.

Lavender has a very distinct smell. It has a floral scent, but one that is light and fresh, without being too pungent or overwhelming. It can also have a sweetness to it with herbal, balsamic undertones and notes. Generally speaking, lavender is a milder scent that many find pleasant. However, it can also have a subtle scent of pine. You can find more information about the uses of lavender here.
